[EVENT] PMAN ENTERTAINMENT FIESTA CALABAR MAY 28TH 2017

Cross River State being known for her tourism and hospitality globally, has continuously bred young and fresh entertainers that have constantly sustained the tourism industry via their talent and creativity in the entertainment sector.

The Performing Musicians Employers’ Association of Nigeria” otherwise known as “PMAN” is an organization whose resolve is to establish a strong and virile association to promote the best interest of music and Nigerian musicians. They also have a mandate to organize an Association of musicians who are engaged in the employment of the services of musical instrumentalists, producers, entertainment managers, arrangers etc. in the performance of their duties, under a virile, strong and united body for their mutual benefits and welfare as well as to promote the study, practice and dissemination of the knowledge of music and musicology throughout the Federal Republic of Nigeria. They are also in the position to establish the machinery for negotiations between the Associations and the representatives of other persons or bodies engaged in the use of the works of the musicians.

To this effect, the Cross River State Branch of the Association under the leadership of John Bassey professionally know as General Brown Bread and his Executives in collaboration with the Cross River State department of Culture and Heritage presents PMAN ENTERTAINMENT FIESTA a monthly event which stands to showcase and promote up-coming and established names in the entertainment industry, as well as provide full-strength entertainment to the fun loving people of Cross River State and her visitors. The event has also been strategically positioned to help curb youth restiveness by engaging youth to explore and develop their talent. 

This event is scheduled to take place at the MAIN-BOWL OF CULTURAL CENTRE COMPLEX CALABAR.  This event will feature a fusion of popular Home-Grown acts, side-by- side, up and coming acts from Cross River state, On the 28TH OF MAY 2017. with activities such as musical performances by various artists selected through an intensive scrutinization of music contents, stage display, fan-base and fashion style as well as comedy, dance and drama.
