986 People Arrested by Kaduna police for violating lockdown and social distancing

The Kaduna Police Command said it has captured 986 social separating and lockdown violators over the state. 

The order said 48 suspects among those captured were strict pioneers and lager parlor administrators in the state. 

The State Commissioner of Police, Umar Musa Muri, who revealed at a press preparation on Wednesday, said those captured have been charged to court for indictment. 

He said the captures were a piece of the exertion of the state government to authorize the lockdown and social removing over the state since March 26. 


"It's qualified to take note of that the order, in its offer to authorize the social removing and lockdown orders forced by Kaduna by the State government since 26 March, 2020, with the end goal of controling the spread of COVID 19 pandemic in the state and environs, has captured 986 violators over the State. 

"Among which, 48 presumes who are for the most part strict pioneers and lager parlor administrators, have been charged to court for indictment, " he said. 


The official additionally clarified that the order has captured 91 suspects for different wrongdoings which incorporate banditry, Armed looters, abducting, guilty murder, assault, shop breaking, burglary and different violations. 

He said such huge numbers of weapons have been recuperated from the suspects while others were killed during different activities did by the order.
