Presidency reveals Buhari may extend Lockdown Nationwide

A Presidential helper has expressed that the legislature may expand the lockdown set up because of the rising instances of the novel COVID-19 infection.

In a tweet on Sunday, Presidential assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Lauretta Onochie implied that the lockdown might be stretched out if Nigerians won't submit to the present remain at home request.

She offered the remark while reacting to an inquiry from a twitter client who posed to her if the present lockdown may be broadened.

“Unless we stay home NOW, the #Lockdown, I would imagine, would be expanded and continue to be extended. The earlier we stay off the streets, the better for all of us.

“That’s how we can put the #AlmightyCoronaVirus at bay!” she tweeted.
