Trumps phones Buhari, promises ventilators

The President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), on Tuesday, talked about with his US partner, Donald Trump, on the phone.

The Personal Assistant to the President, Bashir Ahmad, revealed this on his Twitter handle.

He tweeted, "President Muhammadu Buhari had a telephone discussion with the US President Donald Trump today, the two heads talked about Nigeria's endeavors to overcome the COVID–19 Pandemic, and President Trump promised US backing and solidarity. #COVID19Nigeria"

Additionally affirming the phone discussion, the Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Muhammed, said it was on the solicitation of Trump


He portrayed the discussion between the presidents as sincere.
