42 Suspected Cultists Arrested By Navy During An Initiation In Akpabuyo LGA of Cross River State (Photos)

The Nigerian Navy Ship Victory in Calabar on Sunday May 24th responded to a tip off when the group gathered in a location in Akpabuyo during an initiation, reports News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) defence correspondent in Calabar.

According to navy intelligence investigations, they were preparing for a clash between Klans and Black Axe.

The cultists were handed over to the Anti-Cultism and kidnapping Unit of the police through the State Security Adviser South, Mr Ani Esin.

The state government had, yesterday declared declared 35 suspected cultists wanted for being responsible for cult-related killings in Calabar metropolis and its environs.
