Cynthia Morgan Sends Heartfelt Apology To Jude Okoye
Singer, Cynthia Morgan, now Madrina, has apologised to her former record label boss, Jude Okoye and her former manager, Joy Otongo, for blaming her career struggles on them.
The 28-year-old did so in a statement she shared on Instagram on Wednesday.
She wrote, “I Cynthia Morgan, would like to use this platform to appreciate all the love, well wishes and support from everyone… My heartfelt appreciation once again goes to Jude and Joy. It is the pain speaking, not Cynthia. Thanks for giving me the platform to grow my brand.”
Cynthia had on Sunday alleged that Jude, who owns her former record label, Northside Entertainment, had prevented her from using her stage name and social media accounts, an allegation which he denied.
A copy of the contract said to be the one which the ‘German Juice’ singer signed with the label in 2013, was shared by blogger, Tunde Ednut, on social media on Monday
Madrina in an Instagram live chat with former Miss Globe Nigeria, Cassandra, has opened up on her fall out with the CEO of her former record label ‘Northside Records’, Jude Okoye.
The dancehall star who now goes with the name “Madrina” recalled how she lost her stage name “Cynthia Morgan”, her VEVO account, royalties, Instagram account and other things because of the contract she signed and the record label issue she had with Jude Okoye.
The dance hall queen stated that she had damaging information on Jude Okoye and could have won if she pushed further, but she decided at that time that it wasn’t necessary.
