Leke James Deserves To be A Super Eagles Player – Kenneth Omeruo
Super Eagles and Leganes of Spain defender, Kenneth Omeruo has revealed that Molde FK forward Leke James deserved to have been in the national team set-up, owngoalnigeria reports.
Omeruo said that Leke is one player who he really wished was part of the Super Eagles, as he eulogized the qualities of the attacker. The defender alluded that Leke will be his pick in the bunch of players who have not gotten a Super Eagles cap yet.
Showering encomiums on the forward, Omeruo said “we used to be in the camp together at the u-17 World Cup level. He is a very good striker although he didn’t make it through but if I’m asked to pick a striker for the team who is not with us presently I will pick him”, Omeruo revealed.
Last season, Leke helped Molde FK to the Norwegian League as his 17 goals helped them secure the League trophy.
The forward made his mark in Europe after hitting 37 goals at Aalesund. He moved to Beijing Enterprises before then-manager, Ole Gunnar Solksjaer sanctioned his arrival to Molde.
