Why Buhari's New Chief Of Staff Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari Resigned As The Chairman of SCDDD

Prof. Ibrahim Agboola Gambari has step down as the Chairman of the Savannah Centre for Diplomacy, Democracy and Development (SCDDD).

The resignation letter was issued and signed to help him fully manage his new office as the New Chief of Staff to the President.

Gambari is the Former Foreign Affairs Minister during the regime of Idiagbon/Buhari.

He was appointed following the sudden death of his successor Late Mallam Abba Kyari from coronavirus pandemic.

Prof. Gambari is well known as a very competent, experienced, knowledgeable, unselfish and loved being.

Buhari chose him because he trusts him just like he has deep trust in Late Abba Kyari through out his lifetime.

He's even represented Nigeria since 2000-2012 at the United Nations (UN) while he also worked as UN secretary in 2005.

However, the resignation, to him, is the best option for him to face his new task into to. This step will also allow him to have enough time for Buhari's services with full mind and attention.
