Nollywood loses another veteran Actor.

Veteran Nollywood actress, Bose Adewoyin, popularly known as Madam Tinubu is dead.

This actress who passed on Tuesday morning was buried at about 4 p.m. on Tuesday.

 Late Adewoyin is famous for her role as Madam Tinubu in the play ‘EFUNROYE TINUBU’, written by Professor Akinwumi Isola and directed by Gbenga Adewusi in 1989.

EFUNROYE TINUBU was later adapted for television and was a screen hit all through 1989/1990.

The play toured Nigeria before finally being replayed on stage in the USA in 1986.

Bose Adewoyin as she was fondly called, was a very versatile actress, dancer and costumier.

She was on the contingent of the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture that performed Funmi Odusolu’s famous dance musical, ‘ORÍ’ (Destiny).

Madam Tinubu later began to costume many plays for stage and screen while she also acted along.
She featured with Adebayo Salami a.k.a. Oga Bello in ‘ỌMỌ GHETTO’ by Funke Akindele. While she played Mama Onimama, Oga Bello played Baba Onibaba.

Being a staff of the Lagos State Council for Arts and Culture, she participated in many editions of the National Festival of Arts and Culture, NAFEST. Madam Tinubu also featured in many of the council’s plays and dance productions.
