NIGERIA: Cases of coronavirus rise to nine in Kano

Kano State Ministry of Health Wednesday said it has affirmed five new instances of coronavirus in the state, placing the all out number of cases in the state at nine.

The state representative Umaru Ganduje Tuesday said the state will go into a seven-day bolted, beginning from 10 pm on Thursday, to contain the spread of the sickness.

"With the rising quantities of COVID 19 patients, it's an ideal opportunity to stop the infection in its tracks," Ganduje said.
"A 1-week complete lockdown of Kano State will start on Thursday the sixteenth April by 10 pm. If it's not too much trouble stay inside and let us rout this pandemic."
