COVID-19: Chimpanzee Sprays Coronavirus Disinfectant in Thailand





A questionable zoo in Thailand has caused shock after a chimpanzee was seen riding a bicycle while showering coronavirus sanitizer.

Film from the Samutprakarn Crocodile Farm and Zoo, on the edges of Bangkok, shows the chimp wearing a careful face cover, denim shorts, and an orange Hawaiian shirt as it pedals a kids' bike with disinfectant tanks tied to the back.

Campaigners depicted the recording as 'unfortunate' as per The Daily Mail.

At around one moment into the video, the chimp, who is affixed to a wooden square, can be seen pulling on a nappy before a zoo laborer hands over the human garments.

The video shows the chimp swerving around the zoo on a youngster's bicycle as disinfectant splashes out of the tank at the back.

A zoo laborer runs close by the wobbling bicycle while holding a lead binded to the chimp, as it battles to keep up its parity.

Towards the finish of the video, the zoo specialist urges the chimp to extol its work.

Zoo executive Uthen Yangpraphakorn guaranteed the chimp was utilized to help clean the zoo in anticipation of its re-opening once the administration lifts coronavirus lockdown measures. In his words:

"We have been closed since the government orders about the virus, so in the meantime, we do not have much to do. We clean the place two or three times a week in case the government will allow us to re-open, so we are ready to start accepting visitors again. The chimp was also trained in the farm so we just brought him out to let him stretch his limbs during this inactive period."

In any case, the basic entitlements bunch PETA portrayed the treatment as 'appalling' and said the zoo as a 'hellfire opening'.
