NYSC members in Oyo State develop semi-automated hand washing device

Three corps individuals serving in Oyo state have built up a semi-robotized hand washing gadget with cleanser container and underground depleting framework to help in diminishing spread of coronavirus pandemic. 

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the trio, Victor Afolabi, Victor Ogunmoye and Olamide Adeyanju built up the gadget with sponsorship by the Oyo state office of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). 


Talking at the authorizing in Ibadan on Monday, Oyo state NYSC Coordinator, Mrs. Beauty Ogbuogebe, said the gadget was in light of NYSC executive - general's test to corps individuals to be creative in the battle against COVID-19. 


"The Director-General, Brig.- Gen. Ibrahim Shuaibu, provoked corps individuals to utilize their gifts to grow such gadget in the network. The corps individuals took the test, they began work simply a week ago and today we can see the result. 


"We realize that one of the methods for forestalling the spread of the infection is by washing hands with cleanser and sanitiser, the gadget is semi-mechanized due to the limitation of developments," she said. 


While encouraging corps individuals to consistently keep up close to home cleanliness, she complimented them for the incredible work and the NYSC supervisor for his inspiration. 


Additionally, the corps individuals expressed gratitude toward God for giving them intelligence to build up the gadget and the NYSC for the inspiration and backing. 


"The gadget is very much bundled so that when you press the left pedal, it will bring out cleanser and you press the correct pedal it will bring out water.
