Saudi Arabia donates $500 million to WHO in fight against coronavirus shortly after Trump cuts finding.




The World Health Organization expressed gratitude toward Saudi Arabia's King Salman for giving $500 million to help the worldwide endeavors in forestalling the coronavirus spread, state news office SPA provided details regarding Friday.

"I offer my extraordinary thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and to the Saudi individuals for their incredible liberality by giving $500 million, in light of plan to battle the Coronavirus, trusting the remainder of the G20 individuals to follow King Salman step," the World Health Organization's Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.

The Kingdom will apportion $150 million to the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness and Innovation, $150 million to the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunizations, and $200 million to other universal and provincial wellbeing associations and projects.
