Two hotels Demolished in Rivers State for ‘flouting’ lockdown directive

Prodest Hotel, Eleme, and Etemeteh Hotel, Onne, have been pulled down on the sets of the Rivers state government for purportedly damaging the lockdown orders.

Nyesom Wike, the representative, had forced a lockdown and guided all inns in the state to suspend benefits quickly as parts of measures to check the spread of COVID-19.

The representative had cautioned occupants that inability to conform to the request would draw in solid punishments.

On Sunday evening, Wike was said to have by and by directed the destruction of the inn in Eleme while other government authorities made a beeline for Onne.

Wike has been effectively associated with the implementation of the lockdown request.

A couple of days back, he guided security agents to move a few people to disengagement focuses in the statet. They were found on the boulevards when they were not on basic obligation.

He likewise requested the seizure of certain trucks which opposed the lockdown order by passing on domesticated animals into the state.

The representative asked that the trucks and the cows seized be sold.
