Oyo state government to return 1,800 Infested bags of rice donated by FG as palliatives

Official Assistant to the state representative, Seyi Makinde, on Agribusiness, Dr Debo Akande, clarified that the 1,800 sacks of rice from the Federal Government were invaded with weevil and not appropriate for utilization. The sacks of rice were gotten from the state Federal government on Monday April twentieth as palliatives.
"We got these things from the Federal Government by means of the Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development and we carried them to the distribution center. It was presently further review that we found that the rice had been plagued with weevils.
